AS TIME GOES BY!

This is a watercolor painting done on 300# arches watercolor paper. The actual painting is 13 x 17 and the overall measurement is 25 X 21. It has a double matt, burgundy over ivory with a walnut frame with dust cover on the back.As you can see it is a mandolin with a bottle of wine and the sheet music of 'As Time Goes by' from Casablanca. It also has a book and a bowl. If you would like, I could also change the name of the song and put a different initial on the wine bottle. This is a great picture for over the bar.

Here is my Birdhouse with a cat Pen & Ink painting. It is 11.5 x 13.5 with the overall size 14.5 x 17. It has a painted frame in charcoal with white splatter paint and a wooden feather as an added embellishment.

The weather here was absolutely wonderful here today - we had a birthday party for the Brother-in-law which has been a tradition for over 40 years. Turned out very nice!

Both Gracie and Heidi was groomed Friday for the party - so they were their absolute best! Heidi, the Great Pry, is so white you need sunglasses to look at her now.

Have a great week!!!!!

GIRAFF PRINT

This is a print of my original watercolor painting. It measures 12 x 18 on archival paper. The background is scrunchy (if there is such a word) blue. These would be cute in a nursery or a child's (0-100) room. This comes shrinkwrapped.

THE SUNFLOWER GIRLS

This is a whimsical painting of 2 little girls with their Sunflowers and a birdhouse. I'm sure you will enjoy these girls - they make you happy! This is a Pen & Ink with acrylic wash on 300# watercolor paper. The picture is 9.5 x 7.5 and the overall size is 9.5 x 11.5. The frame is a wooden frame painted Evergreen with sanded edges.

ART AFFAIR ON THE SQUARE

Here is what I have been working on! Getting several of my paintings ready for this show. It was my first real art show - I did it with my friend who makes candles. It was 'ok' but it rained half of the day which was a real disappointment and a little bit scary. I was afraid that my pictures would be ruined - but they were not! I didn't sell much but neither did anyone else. I don't know if it was the economy or the weather. Not too bad of a crowd.
At least I have the first 'scary' one under my belt and am looking forward to the next one in Yellow Springs, Ohio - the Art in the Park in August. It was a learning experience for me!
I think that I might have some leads from it - since people took my business card.
